Dr Abdulai Toyin Peregrino-Brimah
Dr Abdulai Toyin Peregrino-Brimah, author of The Ga Tabom: Perigrinos of Accra, is an Accra-born Gold Coaster. He is a former student of Nsawam Road Government Primary Boys School and St. James Preparatory School in Accra. After completing Winneba Secondary School in 1970, he progressed to Ain Shams University Medical School in Cairo, where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh). He has worked at the premier hospital of Ghana (Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and Mamobi Polyclinic, now Mamobi Hospital) and attended the West African Post Graduate College of Surgeons as an Ophthalmologist in 1998. Dr Peregrino-Brimah is married with two children.
